Travelling from  Alberta ....

Follow Hwy #1 west until you reach Sicamous B.C.. From Sicamous take Hwy 97A south (towards Kelowna) along scenic Mara Lake. Located twenty-five kilometers south of Sicamous, the Grindrod Waterfront B&B is nestled on the right hand side between the Shuswap River and the highway. You’ll see our huge 1800’s barn, so turn in and rest.

Traveling  from Vancouver.

Take the #1  to Hope...connect with the #5 Coquihalla, whip out your ten bucks for the toll booth and turn up the tunes..

If you need to stop in Merritt use the second exit...all the fast food diners, gas stations and restrooms are lined up on the main drag.

Now you’ve reached Kamloops, the #5 Highway turns into the #1 east, this is what you want...keep following the #1 East. Traveling through Chase, Sorrento... you’ll reach Salmon Arm.

On the Eastern skirts of Salmon Arm you will come to a “Fas Gas” Station don’t go around the curve,(if you do your heading to Sicamous & Revelstoke)  put your blinker on and GO RIGHT (South) onto the 97B Highway

After about 15 kms you will come to a 3-way T-Connector where the 97B merges into 97A. Turn LEFT (North) as if going to Sicamous (your actually traveling toward Grindrod.

Follow the 97A North for 8 kms (Driving through Grindrod, you’ll see the huge SureCrop Feed storage bins, cross the rail tracks, Mayberry Store is on the right as well the Riverfront Pub)  cross the Shuswap River bridge, travel for 2 kms and on your LEFT hand side (Riverside) you’ll find our home at 7120 Highway 97A.

You can take the connector at Merrit and travell through Kelowna, ..we suggest the Kamloops way as we find it faster and less traffic than the Kelowna, Vernon traffic...... Kelowna and Vernon are worth the stops, antique stores, cafes..etc.....lots to see and do.
